Professional Development

We provide workshops, curriculum, and ongoing support for students, families, and educators to build financial resilience. Our workshops create spaces for intergenerational conversations where students, parents, and educators develop an understanding of their personal relationship with money, new ways of thinking and talking about money, and the skills to take action and advocate for ourselves and others.

Training Opportunities

Teaching our youth about finance impacts much more than wallets, it’s critical to self-advocacy, promoting social justice, and addressing educational equity. Together we’ll look at the transformative power of having money conversations to enrich learning and equip diverse learners with tools to create change.

The Educator Advocate program will provide educators with comprehensive lessons for financial education using Hip Hop pedagogy. Pockets Change provides online access to Beyond Budgeting & Financial Foundations curriculum to support instructional practices and classroom activities that cultivate financial resilience. Educators will be provided with early access to our new tools/activities. In return, we ask for your feedback through short monthly surveys.
